Introduction
01
The WordPress CMS
The WordPress CMS is a Content Management System. It allows you to add, edit and delete the pages and content of your website. It operates entirely through your web browser.
Your website is set up with two parts – the first part is accessible to the public (front end). The other part is the administration area or the WordPress CMS (also called back end).
Divi and Beaver Builder
Your website will use one of two page builders: either Divi or Beaver Builder. Please contact developer@husk.co.nz if you are not sure which page builder your website is using.
Editing your website via the visual builder will allow you to see your changes in real-time without them being live to the public. Once you are happy with how your changes look, you can either save your changes as a draft, or publish them. Publishing your changes will update the live version of your page.
